This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect your personal data when you use brandscast.com.
Optional product measurement
At signup, you can choose to let Brandscast link your campaign source and public landing page, internal audio preview starts, publication status, checkout and verified payment outcomes to your account. This helps us understand how people find, try and buy the product. The choice is optional and separate from email subscriptions. For organic search, we retain the source category and landing path. For a controlled paid-search campaign, we retain its fixed source, campaign and ad-group labels. We do not retain the search query or full referrer URL. These measurements do not include your audio, documents, card details or Member data, and are not sent to Google Analytics.
This expanded choice applies to signup consents from 16 September 2026. Earlier consents remain limited to campaign source and audio previews; they are not extended automatically. Payment verification uses our billing records and Stripe. Reports separate unknown sources, test accounts and unverified payments rather than assuming conversion.
Measurement expires after 120 days; expired records are excluded immediately and deleted by an hourly cleanup. You can withdraw and delete these measurements at any time in the app under Settings → Profile. Your account and email preferences are unaffected. Billing records required to provide the service or meet accounting obligations are retained separately from optional measurement.
Optional research emails
The report is free to download without subscribing. If you separately choose to receive Brandscast research and internal communication resources, we use your email address to send a confirmation request and, after you confirm, those optional emails through Resend.
We record your subscription source, the consent wording and version, and request and confirmation times. We also use a hashed network identifier and request timestamps to limit abuse. Confirmation links expire after 24 hours. We do not add application users to this list automatically.
You can withdraw consent using the unsubscribe link in each marketing email or contact hello@brandscast.com to request removal. We retain the subscription record while it is needed to deliver the requested emails, honour an unsubscribe request or demonstrate consent. See the sections below for your rights and our service providers.
Connected AI clients
A Brandscast User can choose to connect a compatible AI client, such as ChatGPT or Claude, through OAuth or a personal MCP token. The client may send Brandscast the User's selected Track or episode, Member details, and scripts that the User chooses to process. We use this information only to authenticate the request, apply the User's Brandscast role and Track permissions, and carry out the requested action.
Depending on the request and the User's permissions, Brandscast may return Track and episode metadata, Member names and email addresses, and aggregate download and unique-listener counts to the connected client. Brandscast does not return private RSS access keys or audio storage keys through these tools. The connected client handles the information it receives under its own terms and privacy policy.
The integration does not create a separate Brandscast archive of the User's AI conversation. OAuth authorizations are retained while the connection is active or as needed for expiry and revocation. Tracks, episodes, Members and listening statistics created or changed through a tool follow the same retention rules as records created in the Brandscast dashboard. Users can disconnect the integration in their AI client and revoke hosted connector access from Brandscast Settings.
We consider it important that you read and understand this information. At Brandscast, you have control over your personal information and we will not use your data in an illegitimate or unfair way. This Policy follows Regulation (EU) 2016/679 the General Data Protection Regulation GDPR.
