4. Create your first two episodes
Launch with two episodes. One explains why the podcast exists. The second delivers immediate value. This reduces the risk of “one episode and dead”.
Episode 1, the “why”
Explain the purpose, who it is for, how often you will publish, how to listen, and how questions will work. Keep it under 6 minutes. Be clear. No corporate fluff.
Episode 2, the “useful one”
Choose a topic that helps listeners immediately. A leadership context update, a process change, or a clear priority recap. Keep it under 10 minutes.
Add a short written summary
Post a recap in the place people already work, with a link to the episode and one clear next step. Your summary is the adoption lever.
Create a single feedback loop
Set one place for questions. A thread, a form, or a dedicated channel. One place only. Without feedback, your podcast becomes broadcast only and loses trust.
